A+ for political PR
Politics are in season in the PR world. As my first piano teacher (Florence Rice) would say as she scratched it into the Alfred d’Auberge course book: “A +”
Smart journalists are looking for ways to craft unifying story - a way to bring people to the center and avoid warfare of a tribal sort. This article does that in a comfortable style.
pulling Left to Center with a case study surounding a political official (who happens to be democrat) tacitly endorsing Donald Trump. Though it qualifies as an appeal to authority (fallacious logic), it does so with a safe end point - a unifying story, one which gives other democrats a reason to depart from the party line without feeling imorral; or worse, attract a sense of disgust/outrage from their fellow cohort.
